Found for James… ^^
This evening I went to Lotte Mart at Seoul Station to pick up some goat’s milk, which is kinda hard to find in Seoul. When I got to the milk section, the small area that usually displays the goat’s milk was empty. Standing next to me was a store employee who manned a little booth and was yelling to shoppers about the milk samples she was handing out. I asked her about the goat’s milk, thinking that it was probably discontinued, and she led me back to the vacant spot where the goat’s milk used to be and said, “We don’t have goat’s milk but we have 산양유.” 산양유? Mountain something milk? I scrambled for my cell phone dictionary and punched in the characters. When the translation came up I laughed out loud. Antelope milk? This whole time I’ve been drinking antelope milk? I wanted to ask her more questions like, how do they catch the antelope? Don’t antelope live in prairies? Are these mountain antelope? Is this for real?!? But my Korean vocabulary doesn’t really cover such conversations, so I let curiosity go and I took her word for it, no questions asked. I drink antelope milk.
In polls, more than 90 percent of Americans have said that they would be willing to vote for a woman, a Jew or a black, and 79 percent would be willing to vote for a gay person. But at last count, only 37 percent would consider voting for an atheist.
My bike. I built it — with some help.
(It’s had a few minor changes since this pic.)
